FBI "Hitler Sightings Files" (declassified under the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act between roughly 1998 and the 2010s; available online via the FBI Vault). These are files containing tips and reports from 1945 through the early 1950s regarding alleged Hitler sightings worldwide, including in Argentina and South America.
Examples:
1) Reports stating that Hitler had landed in Argentina by U-boat (submarine), aided by Argentine officials.
2) He was said to be hiding in the Bariloche area (Hacienda San Ramón or the Inalco house). These documents are publicly available and contain scans of letters, memos, and agent reports. The FBI had to investigate every tip, no matter how bizarre.
CIA documents (partly released under the same law):
1) Reports concerning a man named Philip Citroën (a former SS member) who claimed in 1955 to have seen Hitler in Colombia (and later in Argentina). A photograph even circulated.
2) A specific CIA memo regarding a possible hideout for Hitler in Argentina. The CIA file on Hitler himself is very thin, containing mainly old personality analyses rather than hard evidence of his survival. https://www.cia.gov/readingroom/docs/hitler%2C%20adolf_0003.pdf
