May 2026: CIA seized 40 boxes of JFK and MK-ULTRA files that were being processed by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) for declassification.

Vietnam WAR:

* JFK did approve NSAM 263 on October 11, 1963 (over a month before his November 22 assassination), which endorsed withdrawing 1,000 U.S. troops by the end of 1963 and suggested the "bulk" of U.S. forces could leave by the end of 1965 if progress continued.
