The article describes biochemical and metabolic similarities between intestinal parasites (worms) and cancer cells (malignant tumors). Both grow under similar conditions: anaerobic metabolism, low oxygen, certain enzymes, immune evasion, etc.
The Soviet author notes that some antiparasitic substances (anti-parasite chemicals/drugs) have also shown an effect on tumor cells in experiments. Specifically, a substance named "Myracyl D" (or similar) is mentioned, which showed activity against both parasites and certain mouse tumors (e.g., Ehrlich's adenocarcinoma).Other substances such as atebrin (an antimalarial) are briefly mentioned in connection with tumor research. It concerns the link between parasites and cancer at a biochemical level and mentions antiparasitic substances that may have an effect on tumors.

Dr. John Campbell reviews a study involving an 83-year-old woman diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that had spread to her liver, spine, and bones—typically considered a terminal condition.
According to the report, she took a daily dose of 222 mg of fenbendazole for eight months. During that time, her liver enzyme levels returned to normal, and her tumor marker dropped significantly from 316 to 36.
Most strikingly, follow-up assessments found no abnormal metabolic activity suggestive of ongoing cancer.
