Simon Andriesz, a British banker and whistleblower who exposed US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick's business ties to Jeffrey Epstein, including 2018 emails about a shared investment in Adfin and a 2012 visit to Epstein's island.
Andriesz, formerly at BGC Group under Lutnick, uncovered the links in released Epstein files; his death at age 57 was confirmed by Transparency Task Force founder Andy Agathangelou, following BBC coverage of his disclosures in July 2026.
