General Patton

The death of General Patton should have a lot of people questioning our history surrounding World War 2. 

After Germany had surrendered, Patton said we fought the wrong enemy. 

 He saw the Soviet communists as the bigger threat, and Germans as the only bulwark in Europe.

He wanted to rearm the Wehrmacht and use German troops against the soviets while the U.S. was still positioned in Europe. 

While he was a military Governor of Bavaria, he slowed denazification and kept German officers in place so Germany could be rebuilt.

He had openly declared Germany was being destroyed so that Soviet Russia could takeover Europe. 

He was removed from command of the Third Army in October 1945 for saying this out loud.

General Patton then planned to resign, return to the United States, and tell the American people the truth about the Soviets and post war deals. 

On December 9 1945, he was conveniently involved in a car crash that broke his neck in Mannheim, Germany.

He died 12 days later from a blood clot, no autopsy permitted, after having been recovering (Doctors wanted to put him in a body cast and fly him back to the U.S, plans already in order). 

In letters and his private diary, General Patton wrote that the Soviets were Mongolian savages and that Europe was being handed to communism on purpose.

Once the war with Germany was over, Patton realized the mistake. He no longer saw Germany as the enemy, but as a necessary force against the communist Soviet threat. 

Yet we were never taught this important information in school. 

I wonder why?
