Zionism

What Is Zionism?

Zionism is a modern political and national movement that supports the right of the Jewish people to self‑determination in their historic homeland, commonly referred to as the Land of Israel. It emerged in the late 19th century in Europe, at a time of rising nationalism and widespread antisemitism.

The movement’s core idea is that Jews are not only a religious community but also a people with a shared history, culture, and connection to a specific territory. Zionism sought to establish, and later to maintain and develop, a sovereign Jewish state in that territory.

Basicly: creation of Israel.
